Taking over territories is quite simple but can only be
done after the mission Doberman. When you go to the next
part of the game, the Badlands, the Ballas en Vagos will
take over all your territories, included Grove Street.
You will be able to take over territories at the end of
the game.

You can take a territory over by killing 3 or 4
enemy gang members at their territory. After that
you need to withstand 3 waves. The first wave is simple,
a few people with SMG's and Micro SMG's. The second wave
more people show up with SMG's and AK47's. At the third
wave a lot of people come for you to kill. Some have
SMG's but most of them got AK47's. After you take over
a territory it turns green on the minimap and members of
your gang will wander around. You also get money at your
house by taking over territories, the more you have the
faster you will get money. It would be a good idea to raise
your SMG Skill and AK47 Skill to Hitman or at least
Gangster. Another lifesaver is that Health and Body Armor
icons spawn on the street of the territory that you're
attacking. Take it from me, they will save your life!

When you took over a territory your territory will be
attacked after a while. If that happens go to your
territory (flashing red on the minimap). Just kill
all the enemy gang members and you will get to keep your
territory. These gang members have Shotgun's, SMG's and
Micro SMG's but NO AK47 so it's not that hard.
If you save while your territory is under attack it won't
be under attack after the save and you will get to keep it.

There are 53 territories you can take after the mission
Doberman. At the end of the game you will be able to get
54 territories. That means that there's 1 secret territory.
This one is located at the Bayside Marine, North of San
Fierro. It's where the boat school is located.
It's fun to take over territories but is NOT needed for the
100%!!!
