Do you own a PSP but not a PS3? Are you jealous of PS3 owners downloading exclusive PSP content? Well Sony has finally come to your rescue. A PC version of the PlayStation Store is now available for those of you without a PlayStation 3. This store actually includes exclusive content not available on the PS3 store, including full PSP games such as Wipeout Pure and Gangs of London.

The interface is really nice and easy to navigate and for those of you who do have a PS3 you can sign in using your PlayStation Network ID and it will link through to show all your downloaded items. You can also edit your account details, including adding money to your wallet. No doubt this service will continue to evolve over time and we look forward to seeing it do so.

Yeah, There's a bunch of really cool stuff on there. I've already downloaded both of the free demos. Doubtful, but hopefully they'll release some free ps1 games.

That could be great. There are so many classics that Sony hasn't put out on the market yet. Can't wait to see what's in store for the future.

I doubt it. The Playstation 2 is slowly fading away, and the hardrive they released for the console back in th day was useless. Although there might be full ps2 game downloads in the near future. Don't quote me on that. yawn.gif

Ive just registered and will be able to claim my copy of wipeout sometime this week. Theres a couple of the Classics that are tempting but im going to leave it for a while and hope they add a lot more content, which isnt bad considering its quite new.

Hmm... Your classic ps1 games list seems to be slightly different than mine, I'm using the Canadian site by the way. Some of the games you've listed aren't on it.

I'm missing Syphon Filter 3 and a few others. As for games I want, I'd like to see them release the original Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill. The UK store seems to be more up to date.

Damn clicked the wrong button and had to pay for it. Besides, i need a bigger MS.

That would be a good idea mate, but it's fine. I'll stick to the Canadian site for now as I'm not going to purchase anything at the moment. Have you bought any games off the store yet?

Only wipeout which i accidentally paid for. I dont like the billing system though. You have to put x amount into your account and then pay. I prefer paying the exact amount and the problem is you cant get back any excess money. It wouldnt be so bad if you could add the exact amount but they put in a drop down menu for you to choose 4 or 5 amounts. Overall, its good except for the payment system so Ill hardly use it because of that.

Oh and if you are going to download the games, make sure you have a memory stick with enough memory. wipEout is 92mb to download. Ive only got 32mb and 64mb cards, so which one should I buy?

I'd recommend a 2 gigabyte memory stick as it's really cheap right now, and it should be suffcient enough for game saves and downloads. Although if your looking to buy a lot of downloadable content, I think a 4 gb stick would be a better choice for you mate.
