More and more people want more mobile HDD stuff. What about 3D GPS systems ? And storage of pictures , video's , song's. You name it. Espesially designed for rough conditions , Hitachi has developed HDD's that can handle shocks. The HDD's have a capacity of 50GB , and are small. Very small. 100 x 70 x 9.5mm ! You can climb a mountain with it upto 5000 meter ( if the temperature doesn't get colder than -30C ). You can even take an off-road trip with it. No problemo. Because a safety mecanism ' catches ' the shocks. I guess that even if you drive against a tree with your car , you can stil say : " Pfew , atleast we still got our pictures. " ? tongue.gif
