Thanks Nic you have some good points there. I agree it's a bit too simple but i think i was going for the simplicity that all kalashnikovs have. Might throw in something extra though, it's a bit, boring.
Shahroz, it's a slightly altered cutout, the photo was made by a friend of mine on my request.
On a side note, this particular AMD-65 has an AMP-69's phneumatic folding stock installed. The AMP-69 is also a hungarian developement, it's designed to allow rifle grenades to be fired from it. It has phneumatic systems in the hand guard and buttstock to reduce recoil, also a differnt optical sight. I believe hungary is the one country that's using kalashnikov based weapons but we develop our own, rather unique versions unlike most countries who just manufacture the same old AKM design. I think one day i might write an in-depth article regarding past and present hungarian small arms developements.
