Plyometric exercises are a great idea! These types of exercises will let your body develop some fast-twitch muscle fibers, and that will help stimulate any muscle growth. Plyometrics incorporate acceleration into your workout. As an example, plyometric push-ups require that you end each rep by pushing hands up and away from the floor as high as possible. As you start developing your muscles, you will find some groups grow faster than others. You can fix this problem with a fill set. A set of about 25 to 30 reps is sufficient in order to target this group.
