 NFS: Most Wanted

Hitman 3
offtopic.gif but whatever this is one of the best games intros ever

Hitman series is so awesome and is a perfect example of how each sequel can improve on the same formula, adding more features while retaining all the goodness of the previous instalment. Blood Money was so perfect. Its a shame they didn't mention Hitman 5 this E3.

Anyways back on topic.

QUOTE(Mister V @ Jun 21 2010, 10:39 ) *

Haha. Well, lulz aside, the answer lies in the intention of the creator. There's nude photography, and there's pron, which I'm sure you will agree are different. Is the author's intention to explore beauty (or, on the contrary, ugliness)? Or is it to just draw something sexually exciting? You can obviously find examples of both, though mostly the latter tongue.gif

Yeah I agree. That whole beauty/female form thing is very different from porn. I actually thought the same thing when writing that.

Yeah GT1 was pretty sweet but I didn't remember the intro though. I do remember the intro (or maybe it was the first scene) for NFS: Most Wanted. Razor: "First I'm gonna take your ride than I'm gonna take your girl, you get ready for that". This is probably my fav racing game and the best NFS game. Oh which reminds me, my all time fav racing game would be Rock 'n Roll racing on Sega Genesis/MegaDrive. Good times. coolio.gif

EDIT: oh yeah, I'm not into racing games all that much.

I'm interested. I have lately been looking for old adventure games with good stories since now they don't make stories like they use to. I mean they ARE good story games today but I'm looking for dialogue-story-heavy-plus-puzzles kind with little to no fighting. I was never really a PC gamer so I missed out on stuff. It was last year that I came across and played The Longest Journey and its sequel. Good stuff. Now I have Syberia that I wanna play. Anyways this game sounds right up my alley. Where can I get the right version with better translation or english subs? I don't mind buying it off the internet but if that doesn't work is there a seeded torr*nt? shifty.gif

I voted some games. Clearly not all games are art. Some are made with a little bit of knowledge of something just to make some money. Others are made to deliver a unique experience. Final Fantasy 7 is artistic in its storytelling coupled with music maybe not so much visually 'cuz the graphics sucked even for its own time though the character models still did their part in delivering the emotions. No game has ever made me look for its soundtrack after so many years except for this and Fatal Frame 2. Go to Youtube and type in Final Fantasy 7 music. Read the comments and realise how much of a beautiful experience of so many lives this game has been. Notice how no one argues of FF7 soundtrack video instead they all reminiscent.

Story-telling is an art own its own. No doubt about that.
Music is art on its own though Game Devs don't usually compose it themselves they still choose what sounds right for their game and where to place it in the game.
Games involve graphics, CGI and whatnot and when these are high quality, they are art. Pixels are colors positioned in a way to form a 3D model which can resemble us, humans or something outwardly and thought-provoking. Takes real creativity to do that. I'm not saying all character models are art but you know the high quality ones and whatnot.
Like V, I'm also of the opinion that high-quality and thought/emotion provoking creativity is what defines art.

Now, I'm wondering. Is high-quality Hentai art? huh.gif
I know its not made to deliver a more valuable feeling than a bonner ? tongue.gif Is that emotion-provoking enough for you to think of it as art? laugh.gif and for that matter, what about super realistic beautiful CGI T*TS that would give you a bonner? I mean I can't draw/design something like Hentai that would be any good but a better errrr.. artist can. So is that art or just talent? I would lean toward talent. tongue.gif

These glitches seem too concidental to be glitches. I mean couger man on his knees and maks the sound as he leaps. The donkey lady's head looks to replacing her human head perfectly, nothin holograming into one another if you know what I mean. The flying folks are doing the wings with their arms and not moving anything else like legs. Possibly intentionally put in there to seem like funny glitches and knowing R* I wouldn't be too surprised if they are intentional. And why not?

EDIT: I always wanted the Big Foot to be real in San Andreas (and in real life too lol)

I was too late to post when you opened the first Bully wishlist. Glad I'm here now. So anyway yeah bigger map would be nice, somethin like SA (but not as big) where you have different areas like coutry side and desert (or not desert but whatever). I would also like to do some small time crimes like muging, stealing but i know they won't make it into the final game cuz people might see that as "bad influence". I had alot of good ideas for this game before, can't remember. Has there been any offcial announcement for this game yet? Last time i checked the only hint was that the soundtrack composer of Bully 1 said he will do the soundtrack for Bully 2.

I think the player is standing on a crapload of mines about to explode. You can't see your legs in FPSes so it may not look like he is standing ON them but he could be. Either that or he is just pissed that he has to defuse so many of those mines/other explosives.

GTA RPG's an interesting idea, perhaps a spin-off series (not handheld one, main consoles and PC).

Oh forget to mention that I want my character's cloths to get dirty as you fall in sand/mud/tar and really wet when you come from a swim (like in Uncharted). That would give you the whole been-through-hell-and-lookin'-like-sh!t feeling.

Give us some real use for money for cryin' out loud, not just buying guns. I want more cool things that are expensive. Weapon upgrades (good ones so you can see new attachments on your gun) and like being to hire goons or something, buying business and investing money in them. I always felt like I don't really have any use for my money other than buying weapons (not counting taxi fare, hot dogs and whatnot).

Oh and make it an RPG this time... haha jk

Yeah but I might a little longer for it. I'm getting Dragon Age: Origins Spacial Edition really cheap for like 10.
