....Anways from what i've been reading online from different GTA site..Rockstar recoded the game in 2nd edition where no mods,player skins,all the good stuff will be blocked out.. Here is a quote from a forum:

well mine is a UK copy so the coding is the same no matter what edition!!!!

in a way...but there is still a region coding along with weather it is the first or 2nd edition of the game

@Derct: we sorted it. it seems that u can only mod TXDs on vers.2 US but not all TXDs. as my mod s half working on shofs game.

By the way, a ghosttown bridge for GTA3 has been in existence since several months after the game was released. It's good that you tried your own though.
