March 17th and 20th are fast approaching. Only one month separates us from Chinatown wars. I simply cannot wait to see what Rockstar has done with this DS title.

The Countdown Begins!!

Do you think Nintendo will restrict them from using as much violence as they have in other systems? I hope not..

Nintendo pretty much gave Rockstar to make a GTA game like Rockstar makes GTA games.

Why would they make a title for the DS though? I mean why?
The amount of "fun" games lack for the DS IMO and I don't think people will buy a DS just for that one game and that one game only.

There are actually many titles for the DS that don't involve pop princesses, saving princesses or taking care of virtual pets. There are titles like Metroid Prime Hunters, Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty WaW which are very decent FPS games. Then there are good racing games like NFS Pro Street and Race Driver: Create and Race. Other titles include Contra 4, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Assassins Creed: Altair Chronicles, Brain Age 1&2, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, and any Advance Wars title. I have just finished a game called Hotel Dusk: Room 215. A great game if you like to read since it's essentially an interactive book.

True the DS is dominated by "kiddie" games. Even though some of them are great games. There are games that can appeal to an older crowd though if you look a little harder for them. Just look around. Check ratings if you like. Most of what I have listed have come highly recommended.

I for one can't wait to whistle to hail a cab. That's going to be cool. thumbsup.gif

PS: If you are into Homebrew check out this list of available software - DS Homebrew

Wow, I had no idea the DS had those games.

Wait till Simon gets here with one of his Viking rage outbursts.

Dragonball characters look like pussies compared to him.

According to people I know who have played it, it's precisely the opposite.
